Common Waxing Questions
Waxing keeps your skin hairless and smooth for longer than other traditional methods. Waxing removes large areas of hair quickly, so it’s perfect for people on the go.
How long does a waxing session take?
A session takes somewhere between fifteen minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the area to be waxed. For example, an eyebrow waxing would generally take less time than a larger area.
How often do I need to wax?
Waxing removes hair at the root, so results last as long as it takes for new hair to grow. After your first session, this should take about three to six weeks. Additional waxing sessions can reduce the amount of hair overall, giving you longer lasting results.
Will waxing cause skin reactions?
Waxing can cause skin reactions, so it is a good idea to test a small area of the skin before the treatment. After treatment, avoid irritating the skin with new products. We always recommend wearing sunscreen!
Who shouldn’t wax?
Waxing shouldn’t be done on unhealthy skin or over varicose veins, moles or warts. Avoid hair removal waxing if you are taking Accutane®, Retin-A® or similar medications. Individuals who are prone to infection, such as those with diabetes, are recommended to seek alternative hair removal methods.
